How it Works

  • Sign rental management agreement. Will differ based on which plan is chosen.

  • Our partnership with the local Public Housing Authority will ensure that your unit gets approved seamlessly. We will handle the entire process with minimal need from you.

  • habby will screen and verify tenants, match the best fit to your property, and execute the lease electronically.

  • If full-service plan is chosen, you’re on auto-pilot! We will take care of all communication with your tenants and handle maintenance with our local crews.

  • Receive rent via direct deposit. Every month. Guaranteed.

  • Join a community of people dedicated to making a difference through renting. Tenants have the opportunity to review their units, which will dictate rewards given to the best landlords.

  • Earning guaranteed income is one of the biggest perks for landlords renting affordable housing.

    habby is expanding on this even more! Landlords can choose between 3 tiers for guaranteed rent:

    1) upfront payment of full annual rent as stipulated in the lease

    2) upfront payment of the total annual amount of the government-sponsored portion of rent

    3) guaranteed payments of the full rent, but paid out monthly

  • Landlords can report tenant damages to habby for investigation. Qualified damages above the security deposit amount will be reimbursed by habby.

  • habby communicated directly with tenants to handle any complaints and maintenance requests. We then handle these requests on behalf of the landlord. Communication of maintenance work will depend on payment thresholds agreed upon in the partnership contract between habby and each landlord.

  • habby is partnering with local businesses to give discounts and perks to landlords who rent affordable housing in the community. Landlords will receive these offers via email.
